2018 Plans

For the last couple of years, I’ve really been feeling the lure of the trails, partly because there are so many awesome races out there that just didn’t exist “back in the day” — and partly because I’m a pretty simple guy. Trail running is about as basic and pure as it can get… So, I’m hoping to add a few more trail events into my schedule this year to see if I can reawaken the ultra runner within. I’ll kick things off at the HAT 50K in March [for the 24th time!]

Evolving trail plans aside, I’m as psyched as ever to be back as a member of the super awesome Snapple Triathlon Pro/Elite Team squad and have some pretty fun Tris coming up, including:

• Heading South to Long Course Duathlon Nationals in Greenville, SC
• Going West to California for Escape From Alcatraz, a bucket list race
• Venturing to Cleveland for AG Nationals, and
• Moseying to Maine to try to qualify for next year’s 70.3 Worlds
